What We Do
OT 4 kids, Inc. is an occupational therapy clinic specializing in sensory integration treatment for infants, children, and young adults with diagnoses including, but not limited to: Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our occupational therapists specialize in evaluation and treatment of individuals to help develop or maintain play, learning, social, emotional, and developmental skills.
Evaluation
When an evaluation is performed, we assess a child's gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, handwriting, daily living, social, and sensory processing skills. The therapist will work with you to set goals for your OT treatment and set out a Plan of Care for achieving them.
Treatment
When treating a child in occupational therapy (OT), the therapist provides direct care to the child and also works with families and primary caregivers to integrate strategies to enhance development and independent living skills.
Sensory Integration
Sensory Integration therapy involves therapeutic intervention to improve neurological processing and how the brain organizes sensory information. The focus is on improving the foundations of the brain to enhance sensory processing skills.
