Celebrate Arbor Day with Us at Tom Varn Park!
Join us as we honor Arbor Day with a special celebration of trees, growth, and community!
Our event will feature the official reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation, followed by inspiring talks from our guest speakers:
Joanna from Roberts Tree Care Center – An experienced arborist who will share valuable insights on tree care and the importance of preserving our urban canopy.
Vince Morris from the State of Florida Division of Forestry – A forestry expert who has generously donated two 15-gallon trees and one 5-gallon tree for planting and will discuss the role of forestry in sustaining healthy communities.
A huge thank you to Vince Morris not only for speaking but also for selecting the perfect location for these trees to grow and thrive!
We’re also excited to welcome Project Looking Ahead, who will be joining us with fun Arbor Day activities for all ages!
