 al meeting to learn about how to become a part Teen Leaders Club!\n\nTeen L
 eaders Club at the YMCA of the Suncoast is an annual, year-long Y-based ser
 vice and leadership development program for teens ages 13-18. The purpose o
 f the YMCA of the Suncoast Leaders Club is to provide teens with experience
  and training to influence college knowledge, academics, positive relations
 hips, life skills, and positive identity.\nThis program is focused on overa
 ll wellness, character development, and service. The Leaders club program a
 ims to foster a sense of belonging and achievement for all of those who are
  involved. Teens are paired with a YMCA adviser that serves in a positive m
 entor relationship to help guide and develop the teens and program.\nLeader
 s shall strive to show that Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility ar
 e cornerstones of our actions.\n\nThe program’s objectives are to:\nencoura
 ge a life-long spirit of service and volunteerism;\nfoster personal growth 
 and character development;\nenhance leadership skill development; and\nhelp
  teens form positive relationships in a social club setting.\n\nThe club pr
 ovides opportunities for the development of the spirit, mind and body. Lead
 ers are held to a very high standard and should actively participate in:\nP
 lanning and executing YMCA events\nFundraising efforts\nPhysical fitness an
 d education\nCommunication\nTeaching and mentor relationships\nLeadership a
 nd character development\nRelationship building\nYMCA philosophy and values
 \nVolunteer Service (In the Y and community)\nWeekly Meetings\nOptional Sta
 te-wide assemblies (Two yearly Rallies)
