 AMU Farm Fest.<br /><br />On May 20, 1865, Union troops arrived in Tallahas
 see to announce that President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation 
 had freed those still enslaved in Florida. This year’s gathering honors tha
 t defining moment with a full day of programming that explores history, agr
 iculture, and wellness.<br /><br />Visitors can experience guided tours of 
 the historic site, hands-on demonstrations, and live performances. The even
 t also features an agricultural showcase, a health expo, and a variety of f
 ood vendors offering regional cuisine. Families are encouraged to take part
  in activities designed for all ages.<br /><br />Held on the grounds of one
  of Florida’s most storied landmarks, Florida Emancipation Day brings toget
 her scholars, community leaders, and local organizations in an engaging, ed
 ucational setting.
