 AMU Farm Fest.\n\nOn May 20, 1865, Union troops arrived in Tallahassee to a
 nnounce that President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation had free
 d those still enslaved in Florida. This year’s gathering honors that defini
 ng moment with a full day of programming that explores history, agriculture
 , and wellness.\n\nVisitors can experience guided tours of the historic sit
 e, hands-on demonstrations, and live performances. The event also features 
 an agricultural showcase, a health expo, and a variety of food vendors offe
 ring regional cuisine. Families are encouraged to take part in activities d
 esigned for all ages.\n\nHeld on the grounds of one of Florida’s most stori
 ed landmarks, Florida Emancipation Day brings together scholars, community 
 leaders, and local organizations in an engaging, educational setting.
