 ly 9, 2025, at 10:00am. The event will be held at 1360 Anderson Snow Rd, Sp
 ring Hill, FL 34609, and is open to the public.<br />This free community ev
 ent will include a special ceremony starting at 10am with remarks from loca
 l officials. County information tables, food trucks, and other family-frien
 dly activities will also be on-site. The splash pad will officially open fo
 r play immediately following the ribbon cutting.<br />This project is a gif
 t to the community, made possible through a partnership between the Hernand
 o County Board of County Commissioners and the Rotary Clubs of Hernando Cou
 nty.<br /><br />The Hernando County Anderson Snow Splash Pad is a state-of-
 the-art, 6,003 square-foot water play area that features:<br />32 interacti
 ve splash features<br />A 5,000-gallon underground storage tank<br />A wate
 r recirculation system that cycles every 3 minutes<br />A capacity of 174 p
 ersons, placing it in the top 5% of all municipal splash pads in terms of s
 ize and capacity nationwide<br /><br />“This project reflects the strong co
 llaboration between our local government and civic organizations to enhance
  the quality of life for our residents,” said Jerry Campbell, Hernando Coun
