Aimed at providing an immersive and inclusive art class experience for individuals of all ages and skill levels, this 12-week program, hosted by the Twistid Arts Initiative, is designed to cultivate creativity, develop technical skills, and build a supportive artistic community. At the end of the course, there will be a gallery event to showcase the student's work, which will be open to the public.
Weeks 1-3: Foundations of Drawing and Sketching
- Basic drawing techniques and shading.
Weeks 4-6: Composition and Lighting
- Basic understanding of composition setup and creation and utilizing lighting techniques within an image.
Weeks 7-9: Painting Techniques and Color Theory
- Introduction to various painting styles, color mixing, and the psychology of color.
Weeks 10-12: Personal Projects and Exhibition Preparation
- Participants work on individual projects with mentorship, culminating in an exhibition to showcase their creations.
