Safety and Fun Fest

The Safety and Fun Fest is hosted by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and Brooksville Main Street is set to hit the streets of downtown Brooksville.
A special attraction for this year's event will be a Trick-or-Treating event hosted by Brooksville Main Street during the Safety and Fun Fest. Children of all ages and their parents are welcome to attend.
This event showcases all of Hernando County’s first responders from deputy sheriffs and troopers to firefighters and other emergency medical personnel.
The ultimate goal is provide a fun and educational experience for the public, as well as enhance all first responder efforts to help build strong, safe, healthy and united community.
Some of the units that will be featured by the Sheriff’s Office during the event include the Civilian Mounted Unit, K-9 Unit, SWAT Team, and the Drone Unit.
The Brooksville Fire Department and Hernando County Fire Rescue will also be on hand to participate.
The event will also feature a variety of vendors from arts and crafts to face painting and food trucks. There will also be a touch a truck event for the children to enjoy.
