James P Gills Family YMCA Summer Day Camps

Our Summer Day Camp provides youth with activities that teach values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Campers will participate in both sports and specialty activities aligned with the weekly theme. They will have fun while making friends, developing new skills, building self confidence, appreciating teamwork and growing in self-reliance. For kids, Y camp is a fun and happy place to enjoy the summer. LYNX participants must have completed kindergarten and entering 1st grade. Campers must be at least 6 years old PRIOR to their first day of camp.

Teen Intern Program:
Our Teen Intern Program is an exciting opportunity for teens to grow as leaders while making a meaningful impact in our summer camp community. Teen Interns work alongside our Camp Counselors to help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers. Teen Interns will assist with leading group activities, transitioning campers to their next activity, preparing and organizing supplies, and helping with clean-up throughout the day. They play a vital role in keeping camp running smoothly and ensuring every child feels supported and included. This program is designed to help teens develop important life skills, including leadership, teamwork, responsibility, patience and communication all while gaining hands-on experience working with children in a real-world setting

Camp Trinity:
Your adventure awaits! Our camps are all about creating exciting, one-of-a-kind experiences where every child can discover new talents, build confidence, and make memories that last forever. Summer is the time for forming new friendships, trying new things, and growing through positive role models, hands-on activities, and tons of indoor and outdoor fun. With free before and after care, the adventure lasts all day long! Campers must have already completed Kindergarten.
