Have you tried public school, only to find it wasn’t the right fit for your learner? Maybe full-time homeschooling seemed like a solution, but it didn’t quite click either. What if there was a better way—a middle ground designed just for your child’s unique needs? That’s where we come in! At Transitions Microschool, we specialize in empowering middle-grade students (approximately ages 8–14) to thrive in an environment that’s as safe, inclusive, and caring as it is inspiring. Our passionate educators offer a variety of activities and lessons tailored to our students, helping them build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to achieve their goals. When traditional options don’t align with your learner’s needs, Transitions Microschool is here to provide a fresh alternative—one where students are encouraged to embrace their individuality, discover their passions, and forge their own path to success. Let’s make education work for your child!
Many private and microschools are faith-based learning centers, but Transitions Microschool is not affiliated with any particular religion. TMS believes that faith is a personal journey best guided by students' families and religious leaders.
Transitions Microschool does not offer traditional "courses" like a public school. Instead, we design interdisciplinary units that integrate reading, writing, history, civics, science, math, art, and computer science. Each unit incorporates some reading and some writing, as well as many hands-on projects or tasks and includes a field trip or special event to enhance learning.
