
Career pathways provide rigorous and relevant courses that articulate to post-secondary level coursework and/or and industry certification. Fivay High School’s programs support Florida’s workforce needs. We are pleased to have the following career pathways for students.
Business:
Students enrolled in the business pathway are able to earn the following industry certifications; Microsoft Office Specialist and Microsoft Technology Associate
Hospitality and Tourism (Culinary):
Students in the culinary program will have the opportunity to earn two industry certifications; Certified Food
Production Manager (ServSafe) and National Pro Start Certificate of Achievement.

Public Service and Safety:
Our public service and safety pathway offers students a variety of programs; criminal justice, fire science and forensic science. Students completing the criminal justice program are eligible to take the 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator exam allowing them to be hired as a 911 operator upon graduation. Students in the fire science and forensic science program are eligible to test for the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification at age eighteen.
