Torchbearers Christian Academy

Established in 1973 as a ministry in Tampa, Florida, Torchbearers' Christian Academy has grown through the years. In 1990, the need to expand our ministry led us to sell our church and school property and relocate to beautiful Dade City, Florida.

Our purpose and desires are to teach the minds and touch the hearts of our students with the message of Christ’s love; to image the souls of today’s youth with the power of the gospel.

Each student (grades 1 - 12) has his own "office" or workspace that is designed to maximize focus and one-on-one teacher-student instruction.
Still, classroom teachers periodically implement whole group activities and mini-lessons to promote classroom cohesion.

At the core of our curriculum are A.C.E.'s consumable textbook packets--physical paper modules called PACEs that students interact with under the supervision and with the assistance of their teachers. For more information on the A.C.E. curriculum, please visit their website.
