The Central Pasco & Gulf Railroad (CP&GRR) is a 7.5-inch gauge miniature railroad located in Crews Lake Wilderness Park in Spring Hill, Florida. Run by volunteers, it operates a 5.5-mile track, offering rides that explore local history and mimic the late-1800s Orange Belt Railway.
Operation: Generally runs on the second Saturday of each month (January–November) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Experience: Features 10–12 minute rides, often with multiple trains running. Themed events include Halloween Haunted Rides and holiday-themed trains.
Significance: Modeled after the historic Orange Belt Railway, it includes miniature stations named after local historical stops like Trilby and Lacoochee.
The railroad is a non-profit organization focused on educating the public on railroad history and safety, often featuring coal- or wood-fired steam engines built by volunteers.
