

Fort Island Gulf Beach is a family friendly beach with beautiful white powdery sand, restrooms, showers and ample parking. There is boat ramp and dock accessibility. Stroll along the beautiful boardwalk and observe some of the natural wildlife or bring your tackle box and fish off the pier.
Dolphins are often seen swimming in the gulf waters.
After hurricane damage, the Beach is now reopened! There are temporary/portable restrooms on-site. The boat ramp will remain closed, but crews are working to get it reopened quickly! Lifeguards are not currently on duty, so it is swim at your own risk.
