Captain Billy Farrar Fishing is based in Homosassa, on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast. This small town about 60 miles north of Tampa boasts some of the best light-tackle fishing in the country. Homosassa is home to the world-famous Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, where you can see rescued and rehabilitated native Florida wildlife.

We catch Redfish, Speckled Trout, Grouper, Tarpon, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, and more! Freshwater spring-fed rivers flow into the Gulf, and allow for fishing both freshwater and saltwater species, and the stunningly clear water makes sightfishing a breeze! Our tours include all equipment and fishing licenses you need.

We also do scalloping and manatee sighting tours in season. July 1st thru late September is scalloping season. Shallow, crystal clear water makes it easy to find these delicious seafood treasures! During winter months, the warm waters of the natural springs attract the West Indian Manatees. You can swim, snorkel or take photos with these beautiful creatures.
