Anderson Snow Park

This 100-acre park is one of Hernando County’s newest multi-functional sports complexes, and has become a major sports complex for baseball and soccer. This park has 6 soccer fields and 8 baseball/softball fields, and is the home of the winners of the Dixie Youth League District Baseball Tournaments. Amenities include picnic shelters and pavilions, 2 restroom/concession buildings, press box, playground/tot lot, and walking and bicycle trails. 2 pavilions are available to rent. From the park you can access the Suncoast Bike Trail along the Suncoast Parkway, an important link in the regional bicycle network.

The Hernando County Anderson Snow Splash Pad is a state-of-the-art, 6,003 square-foot water play area that features:
32 interactive splash features
A 5,000-gallon underground storage tank
A water recirculation system that cycles every 3 minutes
A capacity of 174 persons, placing it in the top 5% of all municipal splash pads in terms of size and capacity nationwide
