Whispering Pines Park

Whispering Pines Park is 290-acre of natural beauty and wildlife and offers a variety of experiences for visitors. The park complex is nestled among pine and hardwood trees and yet, is only a minute from the downtown area.

The park amenities include:
Junior Olympic size 25-meter pool
Splash pad open daily from 10 am to 7 pm during the season
Basketball courts
Pickleball courts
Racquetball courts
Tennis courts
Six fields designated for baseball and/or softball
Playground
Picnic areas are located in several areas of the park
Two 18 basket Disc Golf courses
Five walking trails
Mountain bike trail

Whispering Pines Splash Pad:
The zero depth splash pad is ideal for toddlers and young children, and a great way to cool off during the summer months. The splash pad is open seasonally from April through October, 7 days a week from 9 am - 6 pm.

Shade structures are available for rent at the splash pad.

Whispering Pines Pool:
The Whispering Pines Pool Complex features a 25-meter Junior Olympic swimming pool complete with 10-foot diving well and diving board. Located adjacent is a shallow wading pool for small children and toddlers who have yet to be "potty" trained. Enjoy the shade structures with seating and lounge chairs.

Payment required for pool usage.
