Cotee River Park

Cotee River Park in New Port Richey is a linear park along the east bank of the Pithlachascotee River in New Port Richey. It occupies the space between the river and Grand Boulevard. Beginning just a short distance north of the downtown district, it could well be referred to as New Port Richey's riverwalk. Stretching for about a third of a mile, it spans from Virginia Avenue to Massachusetts Avenue.

The paved sidewalk hugs the seawall and offers scenic views along the Cotee River ... riverfront homes, boaters, kayakers, and if your lucky maybe even a manatee or dolphin. For obvious reasons, Cotee River Park is popular with fishermen. Numerous benches and picnic tables are available along its length. Six shelters with picnic tables offer great locations for small get togethers and birthday parties. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
