At Tampa Bay Allergy, we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases, asthma, and immunologic conditions for patients of all ages.

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Steven Weiss, our practice has remained dedicated to delivering expert, compassionate care. In 2014, Dr. Weiss was joined by his daughter, Dr. Leah Chernin, continuing a proud tradition of family-centered medicine. The team grew again in 2026 with the addition of Dr. Serena Shaffren, further expanding our ability to serve the growing needs of the Tampa Bay community.

Our physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions affecting both children and adults. We provide comprehensive care for a broad range of conditions, including asthma, contact dermatitis, chronic cough, eczema, eye allergies, food allergies, hives, latex allergies, medication allergies, nasal allergies, recurrent infections, sinus disease, stinging insect allergies, and swelling.

We take a thoughtful, individualized approach to every patient’s care. Each patient receives a thorough evaluation to better understand their symptoms, medical history, and specific healthcare needs. Working closely with our patients, we develop personalized treatment plans focused on effective symptom management and long-term well-being.
