Citrus County CPR

I am a certified instructor and would like to offer my services for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver First Aid, to include CPR and AED.

I have been a cardiac monitor technician at a local hospital for several years, and have taught AAMA/Medical Assisting at a nearby college, to include cardiology, EKG, CPR and First Aid. Additionally, currently working for a cardiologist in Citrus County.

Cardiac Arrest remains to be a huge health problem and is the leading cause of death in many parts of the world, even though there have been many advances in prevention. Approximately 350,000 people per year experience cardiac arrest.

It is a personal goal of mine to reach out and teach the skills needed to save a life. You will learn to recognize and respond to emergencies such as cardiac and respiratory arrest. I will teach you CPR for all ages, as well as how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator), and how to relieve choking or foreign body airway obstruction. We’ll practice these life saving skills together!

The certification card is valid for 2 years. If you have an active CPR certification which is about to expire, a renewal course is required. In addition to hands-on instruction, I use a DVD instructional video, and a DART SIM for advanced classes.
After you successfully pass the certification exam, an eCard will be sent to your email within 24–48 hours.
