HCA Florida Healthcare offers infant CPR and choking-prevention instruction through select maternity and parent education programs, available both in-person and via virtual options.

What You Learn: Safe sleep practices, infant CPR techniques, and choking relief for newborns and infants.
Available as standalone virtual/in-person classes, at-home learning kits (such as through HCA Florida North Florida Hospital), or bundled into comprehensive childbirth and newborn care workshop packages.

Breastfeeding Beginnings class will equip new and expectant families with the information they need to have a successful breastfeeding journey. In addition to helpful video animation, parents will be able to use realistic newborn models to demonstrate holding their newborn, proper positioning for feeding and burping.
