CREST (Citrus Resources for Exceptional Students in Transition) is a center school for students with severe disabilities located in a rural district of Florida. Children come from all over the county to attend CREST. The mission of CREST is to provide an enriching special day school environment in which all students achieve their potential. Innovative programs. instruction, and curriculum are defining components of CREST.
Students at CREST are classified as having an Intellectual Disability (InD) or an Emotional Behavioral Disability (EBD). Their ages range from birth to 22 years. Our students are challenged with autism, conduct disorder, cognitive, physical, speech and language disabilities. The programs we are implanting are giving our students an opportunity to succeed.
