Cedar Key Arts Center

The mission of the Cedar Key Arts Center is to nurture the arts by providing educational activities, facilities and promoting the arts in our community.

The Cedar Key Arts Center sponsors a two week summer art program for elementary students and teens annually. Each year the elementary program, which is taught by a professional, certified art teacher, has a theme and students are given many choices of art mediums with which they can create art. For the past few years the students have been guided by teacher, Jessie Rothbard’s instructions and gentle leadership and have been assisted in creating their art work by art community volunteers. The program generally accommodates 20-25 students.
