That being said, Saturdays at the sanctuary are run by our younger volunteers ranging in age from 13 to 17 (with adult supervision of course). These amazing kids feed all the animals, change all the papers, sweep, mop, wipe down cages, give tours, clean the horse stalls, groom the horses, fill the hay bags, socialize the parrots and so much more. We are proud of our youth programs and beyond proud of the youth that are involved with Ziggy's.
