One of just a few Russian Systema Florida martial arts schools, Systema Crystal River a small, local school, non commercial, semi private. Lessons are personal and tailored to each person and their current physical abilities.

In Russian Systema, and here at Systema Crystal River,
Health and self defense are learned together. Advanced concepts that anyone can work on are demonstrated, taught and practiced. Real useable self defense is taught and is a priority.

Empowering people. Empowering women by allowing them to return to their natural strength. We don't encourage women to "fight like a man". Empowering men by learning how to "move with" the aggression and reverse it as necessary.

Everyone in one class, from teens to elderly. Anyone can do this style.
Right now we only have "adult" classes, from young teens to infinity.

Joint locking and Strike concepts:
Here at Systema Crystal River Russian Systema Martial Arts are approaches to affecting the attacker by working against arm, finger, joints to affect opportunity. Also some work with pressure points. The strikes of Russian Systema are extremely effective and unique. Sometimes the strikes are referred to as being devastating.

Both Stand up and ground fighting:
Russian Systema Florida, here at Russian Systema Crystal River, Russian Systema is at home stand up as well as on the ground. George has extensive ground fighting background. George can teach how to move off incoming power and to deliver power both standing and on the ground.
