At Hernando Elementary, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to shine. Through engaging academics, the arts, music, wellness opportunities, character development, and a caring school community, we help students discover their talents and build a strong foundation for future success.

All Hornet Families are invited to join us for Open House!
1st grade-5th grade students will get to meet their child's teacher
PK-K students will have the opportunity to meet the grade level teachers, see classrooms, and sign up for a Step-by-Step Day.
(PK-K students attend school one day Monday-Thursday of the first week of school and then are assigned a classroom teacher)

Want to be FAST PASSED directly to your child's teacher at Open House on August 6?
To qualify, families must:
1. Create a Parent Portal account in Focus (if you haven't already)
2. Complete all annual student forms
3. Submit everything by August 5
