10/17 Chinsegut Conservation Center Spooky Spectacular Fall Festival

Join us for our sixth annual Spooky Spectacular Fall Festival! This event will be full of fun activities and games for the whole family. This year’s theme is Gnarly Nature. Celebrate the wild side of fall with a festival spotlighting the plants and animals that don’t just survive—they bite back! Guests will explore venomous and stinging species, thorny and toxic plants, carnivorous plant predators, and invasive creatures that cause ecological havoc. Through hands‑on activities, educational booths, a self-guided walk, and spooky seasonal fun, visitors will discover how these fierce organisms play a role in Florida’s ecosystems and why respecting nature’s defenses is an adventure of its own. We're excited to have the Hernando County venom response team in coordination with J&T Exotics and Reptiles as our guest speaker. They'll give a presentation that you won't want to miss at 10:30am. Otherwise, we'll have lots of other wildlife-themed activities going on throughout the event! This event is free, and no registration is required!
