Beginning Birding

Join the Hernando Audubon Society for a morning of learning to identify birds or honing your existing birding skill. Please meet on the deck behind the Conservation Center building where the program will begin by watching the feeders for birds. A short hike to the wetland at May's Prairie, where more species can be seen, is optional. Binoculars will be available for use, but please bring your own if you have them.
This event is open to anyone interested in birding. You do not need to be a Hernando Audubon member to participate. We recommend comfortable clothing, insect repellent, sunscreen and water or other suitable beverages. Please contact the trip leader (Linda) whose information is listed above to indicate that you plan to attend and to get any information about changes in plan.
