Parks and Recreation introduces The Young Explorers Nature Club, a series of outdoor participatory clubs for preschoolers aged 3-5. The Young Explorers Nature Club is not a preschool or daycare; it's a one-hour program that allows children and their parents or guardians to socialize and connect.

Spending time in nature is an awesome way to develop healthy habits, improve motor skills, solve problems, and make lasting connections with siblings and friends. The Young Explorers Nature Club encourages kids to stay connected to nature through fun learning and creative activities in natural settings.
We use storytelling, games, crafts, and lots of fun in nature to promote physical well-being, social engagement, and curiosity about nature for both kids and their parents or guardians.

About the Club:
Each club has a different nature-related theme for kids who want to explore and discover. These clubs can help kids explore wonder and curiosity while learning about Florida’s amazing plants and animals.
Each club meets monthly at different locations on Fridays from January through April 2025. This is a family-friendly program, so parents or guardians can stay with the group during each class. Siblings and other family members are welcome to join in on the fun, too!

Registration is required to participate in the Young Explorers Nature Club.
