January 09: Chess for Beginners- Learn the basics of chess: the history of the game, learn about each piece and how it moves, and how to capture your opponent’s pieces.
January 16: Opening Moves- Now that you have nailed down the basics, advance your chess game to learn basic opening moves and how to establish your middle game.
January 23: Middle Game- In this class, learn how to develop your middle game.
Your opening moves develop your pieces and establish your middle game. Take the next step and learn various tactics to use against your opponent, and learn how to defend against these tactics when they are employed against you.
