Classic Florida Film Fest Creature from the Black Lagoon at Old Courthouse Heritage Museum

The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum presents "Creature from the Black Lagoon" inside the historic courtroom. Doors will open at 6pm. This event is part of our Classic Florida Film Fest. Free popcorn will be provided at showtime.
The Creature movie was filmed in nearby Silver Springs, and was released in 1954. Run time is 1 hour 19 minutes. Children under 18 must be accompanied by parents to supervise them for the duration of the event.
We also recommend event goers stop in early to see our temporary museum exhibit on loan from Museum of Florida History entitled "Beaches, Creatures, and Cowboys: Florida Movie Posters." This display from the Traveling Exhibits (TREX) program includes tons of movie poster art from films made right here in the Sunshine State through the times!
