Join us at The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum for our Classic Florida Film Fest this summer!
We'll be hosting a showing of "The Yearling" at 2:30 pm in the historic courtroom on the 2nd floor. This film is about a boy and his fawn in 1878 Florida and based on the book by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
For families that want to stop by earlier at 1pm, we'll be leading a free activity with kids to create some deer themed crafts. We also encourage everyone to stop by early to see our temporary exhibit, "Beaches, Creatures and Cowboys: Florida Movie Posters." This display is on loan from Museum of Florida History's Traveling exhibits.
Free popcorn will be given out at movie time! Run time is 128 minutes.
Please RSVP in advance for seating: (352) 341-6428.
Parents must stay for the duration with your children to supervise them.
