Join us on a Wednesday of each month for Wandering Wednesday, a guided nature walk that explores the unique habitats of Chinsegut and surrounding WEAs. Each month brings a new opportunity to learn about local wildlife, land stewardship, and the conservation work that protects these special places.
This month's hike will begin and end at Chinsegut Conservation Center , where restrooms and water fountains are available. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start promptly at 9:00 a.m. The hike is approximately 2.2 miles and takes about 2 hours, ending around 11:00 a.m. Trails are unpaved with uneven and sometimes sandy terrain, and include both shaded and open areas.
Recommended items include long pants, closed‑toed shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and water. Feel free to bring binoculars or a camera to enhance your experience—there’s always something exciting to discover.
Come wander with us as we learn, explore, and connect with the lands we work to conserve.
