Get ready for the 7-Mile Loop Winter BioBlitz event happening on Saturday, December 14, from 10 am to 12 pm. It's a super fun family event that encourages everyone to explore local and state parks and learn about the awesome plants and animals that live there.
This event is a partnership between Parks and Recreation and Crystal River Preserve State Park, and it's going to be an amazing adventure. The 7-mile loop is home to over 300 species of plants and animals, and we think there are even more waiting to be discovered. Join us for this exciting chance to connect with the natural world around us!
Just a few reminders:
Please remember to bring water, snacks, and any necessities you may need. The trail is unpaved and consists of uneven terrain. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes.
Kids under the age of 18 require adult supervision at all times during the event.
Registration is Required.
