Citrus County Parks and Recreation is holding its 21st Annual Kids Fishing Clinic at Fort Island Trail Park in Crystal River on February 15, 2025.

For the past twenty years, the Kids Fishing Clinic has become a beloved tradition within the community, drawing families together for a fun and educational experience in the great outdoors. This vibrant event is designed not only to spark children's interest in outdoor activities but also to instill a deeper understanding and appreciation for the diverse marine life that thrives in Florida's coastal waters.

Throughout the day, families can explore various interactive stations, where they will discover fascinating facts about the multitude of fish species found in saltwater and freshwater habitats, learn important fishing regulations, and practice safe casting techniques that cultivate responsible fishing habits.
