What is Fun 4 Nature Coast Kids? A family calendar/directory website serving families in and around Citrus County, Hernando County, and North Eastern Pasco County FL. This site is a member of the Fun 4 US Kids network. There are 18 franchises in Florida, 1 in San Antonio, Texas, 1 in St. Louis, Missouri, and 1 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
What does a franchisee do? Franchisees are responsible for promoting their sites on social media, email newsletters, working events, and other marketing methods to grow their site traffic. The way franchisees earn revenue is by selling ads on the website. Most of this work is done via email and social media messaging. Franchisees are required to have at least one dedicated content manager on their team responsible for curating content and ensuring the directory and calendar are up-to-date, accurate, and as comprehensive as possible. It is strongly recommended to have a social media manager as well.

- Franchisees can work from home (or anywhere with internet), and make their own schedule. All of our current franchisees are moms and dads with school-aged children. Most franchisees work around their kids' schedules as needed.
- Our sites are individually owned and operated. We do not track franchisee's hours or daily schedules. Franchisees decide which days and hours they work each week, and can take sick days and vacations whenever it suits their schedule.
- Most of the work is computer-based and can be done any time of day or day of the week that works for the franchisee.
- Franchisees keep 100% of all the revenue earned from selling ads. PLUS because the site is part of a network, franchisees have the opportunity to participate in group advertising deals from advertisers placing ads on multiple sites in the network.

Why is the business for sale? Two members of my immediate family are facing serious health crises, and as you can imagine, these circumstances have taken an enormous toll on our family. After careful consideration, I have decided it would be best to sell the business. I love this site and this was such a hard decision to make, but I have to make my family a priority at this time.

- Candidate must live in Citrus County, Hernando County, or North Eastern Pasco County
- Candidate must be able to make this business a priority. Franchisees must be able to spend 20+ hours a week Monday-Friday 9-5 to run the business to be successful. It is not a business that can be run as a side hustle
- Candidate must be sales oriented but no prior experience is needed
- Candidate must be a parent or be involved with family events/businesses in the community
